I happened to be in Seattle yesterday for a photography workshop. I walked around downtown and Microsoft was having a kick off party for their version of the Ipod. From what I have seen and heard it is not going to compete. It is probably a little late, the Ipod has been out for five years and holds 3/4 of the sales for MP3 players. the man himself was there Bill Gates and a concert by a local small band Secret Machine (not sure who they are). Ipod has U2 and Zune has Secret Machine.
